ICC-Europe has been operating European youth tournaments since 1999 and Belgium first entered a team in 2001 when it sent a national squad to the Under-15 Division B Championships in Berlin that year.
Belgium has won European B Championships at Under-13, Under-17 and, most recently, Under-19 levels. It has also finished in 2nd place at Under-13 and Under-15 Championships, and recorded two 3rds at Under-15s as well.
The Under-13 Championships were discontinued after 2004 and there will be no Under-15 Championships in 2011 due to a re-arrangement of the tournament structure.
For a number of years national selections have also played in the Dutch leagues at Under-13 and Under-15 levels.
The national Under-19 squad will will defend its title in the Europe Division B Championships on the Isle of Man later this year.
