The Belgian national Under-19 squad has ended the ICC-Europe Division 2 Championships in 7th place after disappointing performances in cold and wet conditions in their group matches.
In the seventh-eighth place play-off on the Isle of Man today Belgium beat Gibraltar by 133 runs in a match reduced to 43 overs. Batting first, Belgium made 198-8 with Shaival Mehta scoring 83. In reply Gibraltar were all out for 65 in 21.4 overs.
