U19s beat France by seven wickets

The Belgian Under-19 squad has beaten France by seven wickets in its second match of the European Division 2 Championships on the Isle of Man.

In a match reduced by rain to 42 overs per side, France batted first and made 130 all out, with Fraser McRae taking 3-25.

In reply Belgium made 134 for the loss of just three wickets in 36.3 overs with Shaival Mehta on 44 not out and Rob Sehmi on 48 not out at the close.

Belgium now has two days off before playing Israel and Norway in the last of the group matches.
