BLACU (the Belgo-Lux Association of Cricket Umpires) runs several courses for umpires early each year.
For those starting out in umpiring an Introduction course is provided free of charge and qualifies new umpires to stand with experienced umpires in Belgian League and T20 matches. Introduction courses are available now. Anyone interested in becoming a cricket umpire in Belgium should contact:

In addition to these courses BLACU also runs higher certification courses such as the ECBACO Level One which is provided by ICC-Europe tutors.
The next such course takes place in early April.
