The Cricket Belgium League Committee is chaired by Marc Vandereviere and is responsible for deciding all rules and regulations relating to the senior League, usually in consultation with the Cricket Belgium Executive Committee and often by referral to the clubs themselves. It also operates the fixtures lists.
The League Committee has the power to fine clubs financially or by points should they break certain rules relating to the League. A club may appeal against its decision, which is then referred to the Disciplinary Panel for an independent verdict after all evidence is seen.
The Disiciplinary Panel hears disiciplinary issues relating to on-field and sometimes off-field behaviour and is able to ban or place suspended bans on players who infringe the Code of Conduct. An appeals process is available and when an appeal against a ruling is made Cricket Belgium appoints an Appeals Tribunal.
In addition to the umpires, clubs also have a right to report an incident. This is dealt with by the League Committee, the Disiciplinary Panel or BLACU, the umpires' association, depending on what it concerns.
