Cricket Belgium has a full-time National Coach, a Director of Excellence and a considerable number of qualified coaches at the various clubs.
Each year it runs Introduction to Cricket coaching courses and, in cooperation with the Royal Dutch Cricket Board (KNCB), ECB-Europe Level One and Level Two courses.
The Cricket Belgium Coaches Association is chaired by Martin Gregson and will have its own website up and running later this year.
The National Coach, Fazil Mahmoud, spends a great deal of his time providing cricket 'initiations' for schools and teaching sports teachers as part of the Schools Programme and also coaching at schools. In May each year there is a Schools Final Day and awards for the best school and schools players are made at the annual Cricket Belgium / Cricket Vlaanderen Awards evening.
In addition qualified coaches are provided where possible for sports fairs, sports camps and other events.
